Andre Villas-Boas made a very bold call Tuesday against Valencia. By sitting one of the emotional leaders in the Chelsea dre sing room, in probably the biggest game of the season AVB took a big step in the proce s to rebuild Chelsea. I do not feel that sitting Frank Lampard is in anyway a slight against the man as a player, his Joe Pavelski Men Jersey legend at Chelsea is set in stone. Chelsea also has other ageing legends in John Terry, Didier Drogba, Ashley Cole and Petr Cech, all hovering around the age of 30.These men are workhorses who have given the best years of the playing careers for the fans at Stamford Bridge. There will come a time that they will have to sit, to make way for the new Blues who want their names to be spoken in with such praise. This may come in a crucial Champions League tie against Valencia, it may come in a game at Old Trafford, but these games are inevitable.This is not something that is currently exclusive to AVB. Sir Alex Ferguson has done this numerous times, so has Arsene Wenger. Liverpool fans will also have to accept this reality one day with Steven Gerrard, although his recent injury woes have given them a taste of what is to come. When you look at Chelsea fans, they have been lucky that Lampard, Terry, Cech and Cole have gone through their careers with the Blues in relative good health.I feel that the mark of a strong manager Kevin Labanc Women Jersey is knowing when not just to sit veteran players, but knowing what players are ready to progre s to the next level. AVB may very well not be the Chelsea manager at the end of the season, or in the next two or three.
